Outside of Netanyahu and his inner circle it seems to be a widely held sentiment that containment of an Iranian Nuclear threat is preferable to a shooting war with Iran.

$300 to $400 a barrel seems like one hell of a steep price for the rest of the world to pay to put Iran's nuclear weapons program (if it actually exists) back at the most 2 years and give Netanyahu peace of mind and put the final nail into a two State solution which he has to all intents and purposes achieved already without a full scale war!

Makes one question why Obama has taken containment off the table? Or if in fact he really has now that he has the Jewish vote and the election is over?

Sources: US behind European protest measures

The United States was behind the summoning of Israeli ambassadors by several European nations, Israeli sources with close ties to US administration officials said Monday.
