Batch was really impressive, especially his arm strength. He was mostly pinpoint on his throws too. The Steelers defense also played incredible. It would have been a better game if everyone was healthy, but that is the way things go. You play with who you have healthy.

I have to agree with you. Our defense is horrible, no pass rush and Joe played a bad day plus the offensive playing calling was horrible. One of the worst loses I can remember.

I don't think he cost the Ravens the game, but he certainly didn't help by challenging a call that he could not possibly hope to win. He cost them a timeout that might have left some time on the clock to allow the Ravens to possibly come back for a tying FG. But Harbaugh can't be in Flacco's head to tell him the pass rush is going to get him from behind and he needs to protect the ball. Flacco's been in the league for 5 years now and he still hasn't figured that out. Good grief! How many times has Pittsburgh's pass rush stripped him from behind? He really needs to get more pocket awareness.

Too many wide open receivers. Batch missed an easy TD that almost anybody could have hit. But that's been the way all season. In the first game against Pittsburgh receivers were wide open as well. The difference was that Leftwich was one hopping the ball to them most of the night.

It's been that way all season. Pass rush can be blamed for some of it, but not all. From the second game of the season against Philadelphia and on I have noticed wide open receivers in the Raven's secondary. The Steelers had them in the game up in Pittsburgh, Leftwhich just couldn't connect.

I think the Ravens disrespected Batch and paid dearly for it. They didn't think his arm was capable of hitting his receivers consistently. The plan was probably to penetrate the line by putting more people there and put more pressure on him and force mistakes. They failed to do that mostly. That failure opened up wide lanes for the receivers.

Ed Reed's interception didn't make up for the complete inability to tackle. He continues to be a liability.

The worse part about this loss is that we've kept the Steelers playoff chances alive -- and they will probably beat us out in the post season and make it sting even more.

Batch is not the fastest QB or the best passer but he plays smart football and the Steelers are one of the best coached teams out there.

The Ravens were out coached and out played yesterday. And that come from a head coach who didn't kneel on the ball in the last series before the FG to win the game.

And we need to call more plays where he gets the ball out of his hands quickly, slants etc...

Whether it's Cam calling the play or Joe changing the play, their thinking needs to change.

And too many go routes. And Joe needs to be willing to run the ball when he has an open field. There were a couple of times where he had open field in front of him, but decided to heave the ball down field.
