I find it odd to assume that a Private school in Maryland who had one good win in the year would destroy all MD public schools when a school that didn't even make the public school playoffs proved that they can compete with the NJ big boys (schools that could beat Gilman). So only an arrogant, piece of $h1T that uses a bunch of definitive statements and exclamation points would try to convince us that nobody could score on Gilman.. ha what a joke!!
Size and speed doesn't determine the best team in the state. If that were the case, we wouldn't play the game- we would take 40 times and weigh in's to determine the state champion.
As I mentioned to GA before, the best players from Maryland that are playing football currently in the NFL are from Public schools not private schools. Ultimately, the NFL will determine who the best players from the state of Maryland are and those are typically kids coming from the MD public schools.
ps- Paramus beat FCA by 17 points (maybe this is a blowout but if so, then maybe we can all agree that Moeller blew out Gilman), North Point beat FCA by 8. And Bergen won in OT.

Biff has the Gilman kids do strength training all year. And if you're not playing basketball, baseball and lacrosse, all of the other kids are basically required to run indoor and outdoor track. This obviously helps the skill players but also the big guys. Because they are doing shot put and discus, basically just lifting the whole time.
A. Play a different sport in college
B. Are smart enough to realize that the road to the NFL for 75% of the players is also the road to being Bankrupt( the 75% is just the number, 3 years after you leave the league ) It is actually greater through out life,
D. Are in it for a great education
E Turn out to be great college players and not very good Pros. (there are a number of Heisman players that washed out of the NFL)
F. Sat the bench in High school did not play until last year in college and are NFL superstars.
G Last but not least our in jail (the talent that is behind bars would shock everyone)
whats up guys, finally got accepted to post on here about 2 weeks ago and just got on, so i'm new, but as far as Dunbar moving to 2a next yr goes...idk who Mtown will be losing player wise but if they had played eachother this yr Middletown would've won by 20! Dunbar gets by with weak schedules and gets teams like Surratsville and Forest Park in the P.o's...really? 1a football isnt that tough so the ride to the playoffs is cake! They will have to worry about winning the region next yr if Hereford can get back on track to what they were 4 yrs ago.
yea in their region its weak as well but the Walkersville team mtown beat for the region are better then the 3 teams dunbar beat to get to the final. brunswick shouldnt even have been in the final running nothing but slip screens really, i saw the fh brunswick game, and they beat a young fh team barely! dunbar barely beat edmonson this yr 13-8. the same douglas-pg team mtown killed again who rolled edmonson.. same goes for the 12-0 overlea team they beat last yr, overlea was just fortunate to drop to 1a to play such a soft schedule. worst 12-0 team ever! 2a will be a tougher test for dunbar so only time will tell come september. i just wish they would be able to play a tougher reg season schedule
and south river is a 4a team..

who's beating their breasts?? im not a knight either, im just making a point that Dunbar has had an easier schedule in the past in route to winning titles and they wont run through 2a as some have suggested especially through mtown! i stated that they wouldnt beat middletown in a game, but i also said idk who mtown is losing player wise either, but that Dunbar's run has been through bad to average teams! grant it CHC is a private power to a degree thats the only team of talent Dunbar played and they were dismantled easily! Its my opinion Dunbar wont have as much success in 2a, but i guess we'll wait for Sept for that
why do u keep saying enjoy our run? im not a mtown grad or a fan! the sept reference has to do with actually looking at their schedule and seeing tougher teams to play rather then douglas, digital, mervo, edmonson, city,..ect! the record has come from beating weak opponents bottom line. I'm not saying mtown is a program but the teams they've had the last 2 yrs wouldve beaten dunbar..EASY! Therefore when they move back up to 2a they will not cruise as easily to a title. Middletown beat a good Urbana team this yr by 3 tds, and a Walkersville team while not great but good whom also beat Urbana..i said i believe mtown would beat dunbar this yr and can next yr! dunbar will not run through as easily as they have in 1a...when their level of competition steps up and they continue to win ill respect it, until then no. Your really confusing me with an overecstatic knight fan 4real...idk why! Dunbar has stayed at the top bc top city talent flocks there which im fine with but when they face tougher opponents and win on the regular ill admit im wrong!
i agree, but i also still dont think Dunbar has played any competiton this yr close to Middletown! Dunbar can keep receiving talent, but as i said idk who Mtown will lose this yr. I never said Mtown was a program, but i believe these past 2 yrs Dunbar would lose. Next yr may be another story, im not familiar will all 2a teams...mostly 3a & 4a, but Dunbar wont run through their schedule again unless its as easy as it was this yr. Middletown killed a Douglas-PG team that beat down Edmonson, the same Edmonson Dunbar struggled with...every game has to be played out tho so those instances mean little. Middletown did beat some competiton this yr in Urbana and Walkersville who also beat Urbana...Tj and Linganore were down again a bit but Middletown cake walked through them both...it will be interesting tho and i hope the same as well!
