Harbaugh has become somewhat of a villain here among the sports reporters and sports talk show hosts. There is a consensus among them that he is arrogant, smug and inept as a coach. Mark Madden here in the Burgh refers to him as "Corporate Coach Johnny". They really berated him over the challenge flag and end of halftime clock this past game. Granted a lot of these guys including Madden can be donkeys as well.
Just sharing with you all. No disrespect. He has a hell of a win, loss record the past five years.
Personally, I think Harbaugh has done a very good job so far this season. He's taken a marginally talented football team and brings them to DC with a 9-3 record. How they end up remains to be seen but for the most part, he usually has the team ready to play on Sunday. When I looked at the Ravens going into Week 1, 9-7 wouldn't have surprised me in the least. I'm not sure how arrogant he is but this town could a lot worse.
but I'm curious,
If they think Harbaugh is that arrogant....I can only imagine what they thought of Billick.
Billick was the king of arrogance.
I just don't see Harbaugh that way at all. Seems like a real nice down to earth kinda a guy.
He just needs to fire Cam
do I like him? what does that mean?
I like his results a lot ........
as to his style he's a little too rah-rah college coach for me but its what this team needed and has worked ........
the only time I met him he was heavy bible thumping and seemed like a decent and sincere human being .......
I love how sports fans accept terms like rebuilding year, one or two players away, still a team in progress.
EVERY team in the NFL gets the same amount of money to spend on payrolls. Weaker teams get the highest quality players in the draft each year.
Team are suppose to play well, if they don't its because people did not do the job they are paid to do, plain and simple
