if they're right, so be it. but I think he was comfortable here. the expectations may not have been too high, but the demands of a playoff chase were. and he stood tall, even when no one else could hit in the Div. series

Big fan of this signing. He creates security for the team in the field, while leaving the door open for Nolan, or another young guy, if he should figure it out.
Plus, he's a potential leadoff option that would allow Nick to move down in the order without hurting the lineup.

I don't know who those guys are or what their rationale for saying that is but at this price he can fail miserably and it isn't a big problem financially.

here's the link to their show on MLB. it's Chris Rose and Kevin Millar.

Millar also said Boston is the team to beat in the ALe this season. I totally disagree.

Millar follows my opinions closely which more people should learn to do.

Good deal but in 2014 they need a bigger bat. As a Braves fan he sucked when he was with us.

Maybe it’s not so much that he liked Baltimore and more to do with nobody else was stupid enough to buy into what he did last season as a sudden realization of great talent and offer him more.

The most logical reason that nobody else went after him, even at such a low price, is that most people are not wearing orange colored glasses and they know that more than likely his performance last season, not even a full season, was more of a fluke, one hit wonder situation and he is more likely to go back to his Atlanta days numbers than put up what he did in a short period last season in Baltimore.

it's been about 2 months since the yankees were embarrassed in the playoffs. I guess he feels like it's safe to come back out of hiding.

but that truth is boring, his explanation will be much more hollywood. I predict something along the lines of, he was sent out to a remote area on a mission of worldwide security. the planet's very existance was in jeopardy. naturally he didn't have internet access.

after every yankee embarrassment, or even loss for that matter, this guy is suddenly whisked off to some tiny corner of the Earth where they don't have the internet.

He's a former All Star and gold glove winner.
Are you always this uninformed, or is this just an overreaction to your location?

In the past, I remember you actually put some facts in your trolling.

There might be some truth in what you say but McLouth has committed himself to what he must know is a make or break season for him and the O's at a hugely discounted price have a Gold Glove outfield and outfielder plus depth in the outfield that most teams, including the Yankees can only dream of! And very little to lose financially if it does not work out. I know who's off season I am more pleased with to date! Hows the ARod saga looking at $30m per year?

After a long hiatus this is the best you can come up with?

This is sad even coming from you.
