Default Judge grants bail to Bel Air boy, 16, charged with sexual assault

"The 16-year-old Bel Air boy, jailed since last week after being accused of sexually assaulting a teenage girl at a party, was released from the Harford County Detention Center Monday after a judge reduced his bail earlier in the day.

Lori is charged with first-degree sex offense, which carries a life sentence, as well as second-, third- and fourth-degree sex offense, first- and second-degree assault and attempted perverted practice.

Lori, of the 800 block of Bridle Path in Bel Air, is accused of attacking his victim at a party in Forest Hill Nov. 21 and, ultimately, sexually assaulting her."

It would be nice to know the truth of this. It also would not be the first time a teenage girl changed her mind after the fact.
I would also like to know about the bite wounds and if she had any knots or bruises from being struck.

There's more to this story then what we're told here.
No way things happened the way the girl said.
I'm not saying the girl wasn't assulted nor maybe a crime was committed by why would a teenage girl when at the house of someone she apparantly doesn't know to well ("a friend of a friend") go down into a dark basement because she felt uncomfortable upstairs?

So, you support outside-the-law punishment for this suspect? Disgusting.

It appears that both parents are in the home. There is no mention is the article on where there at the time of the alleged assault.

I agree, disgusting act none the less but a well established program may put him on course to turn his life around. I'm sure his parents will say he was a good kid.

He has not been convicted and frankly there has very little mention of evidence.
If guilty I would have no issue with a lengthy sentence but I am a little suspicious of this kind of case with no physical evidence.

I think you and I are the only ones to see this.
Her story, or I should say, her story as told in the article doesn't make sense to me.
That being said, it's still possible that a (serious) crime was committed.
It just didn't happen they was either she or the article said it happened.
There's more to this story. It's not neccessarily any of my business but I also don't think I can fairly make a judgement with what we're told.

    Spot--

Why do you keep deleting your post and then post the exact same message? (I know why--you want to bump your thread without appearing to bump it.)

Yes. Disturbing and discussing. But he will get a fair trial and if convicted he will get serious jail time.

Question is, what reason would the victim have for lying about the attack? If things happened the way she claims, she should have plenty of bruises to prove it. By his picture, Lori looks like he may be suffering from "little man" syndrome needing a way to prove he's a tough guy by beating down and assaulting a girl. If guilty, he needs to get what he deserves...jail time with Bubba.

What is with kids these days? Playing too many video games? Wait, I know, too much sugar.
