Unhappy Just in time for Christmas: U.S. unemployment rate jumps up to 8.3 percent

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- U.S. unemployment, as measured by Gallup without seasonal adjustment, was 7.8% for the month of November, up significantly from 7.0% for October. Gallup's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate is 8.3%, nearly a one-point increase over October's rate.

Quick work by the mods there!!!

UE rate is out tomorrow....Thread title is false and misleading...Work on it...

Maybe you could title it something like:
According to Gallup, whose presidentioal polls were wrong too, UE Rate rises to 8.3%...

    Just trying to help..

Gallup's numbers have been wrong on the UE rate, wrong on the presidental race... pretty much wrong in general. Which means they are the perfect numbers for posters [like] sushi.

Doesn't matter. Most are just crappy low paying jobs with no benefits. No much to brag about there.

Really?? Got a link to that?

there are as many as 500,000 jobs that aren't being filled because employers say they can't find qualified workers.

Perhaps it is the folks who are simply unqualified..

I can't tell you how many people even coming out of higher ed with degrees who can't put a sentence together without a major grammatical error. It's a problem. If you can't do the resume properly to get the job, you can't come work for us. We're in the business of making fasteners that hold systems together that protect people in the air when they're flying. We're in the business of perfection. .

Nationwide, manufacturers say the lack of skilled workers is the reason for hundreds of thousands of unfilled jobs; a number Ryan Costella says is about to get bigger.

There are plenty of good, high paying jobs out there...People just aren't qualified for them..They probably have spent too much time whining and complaing on a local bulletin board...

Who's surprised, the REAL number is closer to 16% but Bobo's Brigade of Baboons think unemployment is a job.

One has to wonder why these leftwingers continue to cheer for a vile, desperate, incompetent racist like Barry Hussein Obama?

Could it be that they hate America as much as he does?

And the largest percentge of unemployed -- African Americans and women -- voted to give the current POTUS a second term.

    Good luck with that.
