1) Oline reshuffle - They have faired OK but McKinnie is probably the best Olineman on the team (doghouse/salary stuff has factored in to not fielding the best team)

2) Implement more rotation (Oline, Dline, LBs, etc) keep these guys fresh.

3) Incorporate more shotgun/no huddle - what happened to this? why is it being used so infrequently? This is Flacco's best setup. Rice runs well out of this formation, you can have Leach in there also.

4) Assign a review point man (to quickly review replays and decide if a review is required). No more stupid wasted timeouts!

5) Attitude change. Black is back, all black uniforms for the alternate uniform games. No more stupid press conferences saying, "we try to get better ever week" (when you are getting worse). I will tell the coordinators what to do, not stand there and watch us lose a game and do nothing.

Knee jerk reaction vs. vetting and multiple candidates interviewed by the Ravens FO in a comprehensive HC search. Not a good comparison, IMO.

And for anyone questioning the choice of Caldwell to replace Cameron this year:

1. Turner is NOT available NOW.
2. Caldwell was a HEAD COACH, has seen this offense for a year, has worked for years with Peyton in the past, and IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM COULD DO A WORSE JOB THAN CAM CAMERON, and could very well provide a spark and add some life to this lifeless, dying offense that is currently in place. It would be a 4 week job interview to see what he's capable of doing. I swear...sometimes y'all act like a bunch of whiny little biatches. You whine and moan and complain, then when it comes time to make any sort of changes you run and cower and ruminate over the prospect of a change. Honestly...you really deserve the suffering and misery that IS the Baltimore Ravens.

That's about it. At 9-3 I think the team only needs tweaks and not a major overhaul. I don't like the idea of replacing coaches in December, so we go with what we have.

I'd fire the equipement manager just to make a statement that I won't stand for anything less than wins, 500 passing and 250 rushing yards a game, a shutout by the defense and basically 40 point wins. Suggs and Kruger must get 3 sacks a game each and the first pass Cary Williams gives up signifies his unconditional release from the team.

5. Oh yea, next year I'd make sure we draft all ProBowl caliber players and I'd hire Sean Peyton as my offensive coordinator.

Assumption- assume Rikman takes over right now

1. Use Ray Rice as a split out/flanker type reciever on occasion with Vonte Leach as a blocker/enforcer to protect Joe's blind side in the backfield.

2. Use Leach inside the 5 yard line. Man's got a nose for the end-zone and I think is underutilized. Ray Rice would approve!

3. Ravens lack serious defense pressure on the QB. Blitz a linebacker or Bernard Pollard or both on every passing situation. Yes, you might get beat sometimes but you'd get your share of turnovers.

4. Ravens not good in stopping the run. Play a 4-3 on 1st down with as much beef as you can put on the line. 3rd string backs have been running through us.

5. Give Joe the option to call any play he think would work at the line. I still don't think he's been turned loose.

Hmmm. Yep, that is a really smart move. Won't cause any problems in your locker room, right?
Do you manage people at work? Do you have any expereince in management? Apparently not.
Those 2 moves would cause divisiveness in the locker room like nothing else. The changing of the guard must be handled carefully and in a calculated way.
If other people on the team are to become team leaders - (like Ray Rice is becoming) - they'll need to do so on their own merit. Not by your benching of two prominent leaders. Players become leaders on their own - and players will gravitate to those they view as leaders. You can't fix the situation as a coach through benching - you think players wouldn't see through that?
