I only have One cataract developing on one eye that will probably have to be addressed in another year. Wait till YOU hit your 60's pal, Laugh Then! I have absolutely no desire to play "at Home" here in MD. Going Away to Stay & Play is the whole Raison d'être! In AC and LV I'm not driving anywhere, I can Stay in my room that in AC anyway is usually Free on my Comp. In LV I just get a couple nights out of the week Free or a bit of a break. That's what Real Casinos have! As far as "Flushing" my own Disposable Entertainment Dollars. Well that's none of your business.

I'll be in LV next week, Nothing like LV at Xmastime! Christmas decorations everywhere, Xmas Musac on the speakers, everyone in Holiday spirits and people in the Casinos yelling "Oh My God!", "Jesus Christ!" and "Holy Crap!". It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

[QUOTE=Bloomin Onion;8217563]... And also how come NONE of the Maryland casinos have a hotel attached like they do in Delaware and St. Louis?

Bloomin, read this...just a thought right now...I haven't spoke with him recently to see if these plans are taking fruition...

Arundel Mills has hotels in the area but not within walking distance.

Bloomin, the closest hotel is about five hundred yards away from the front doors of the casino...as the crow flys. You can certainly walk it, if you are not pushing that walker or too tired from going from one end of the casino to the next. Also, I wouldn't want to take my chances on the racetrack around the mall. The casino and surrounding hotels have shuttle busses that run, but I am unaware if they are constant...they might just be "on demand".
