Default Appeal to vanity in an attempt to prevent meth use.

Maybe, hopefully, it will work. I somehow doubt it. Addicts don't start down the road believing that "it" could happen to them.

I remember seeing something like that several years ago. How quickly they deteriorate!

It's amazing, isn't it? It's a horrible, horrible drug. And its destruction crosses all age, socio-economic, race and gender lines.

Has it infiltrated the demographic of the elderly middle to upper middle class housewife yet ?

    I think not.

    Of course, that's your domain.

Default Meth's devastating effects: Before and after

A slow death is what they should call Meth. Some of the 46 pictures are hard on the eyes.

"Side effects of using meth include paranoia, hallucinations and repetitive behavior, according to the Partnership for a Drug Free America. People can also have delusions of parasites or insects crawling under the skin which leads them to scratch themselves. Long-term use of meth, high dosages, or both can cause psychosis and paranoia. In some cases, it can even lead to stroke and death."

OMG, they look like zombies. Terrible.

Best to show folks those pictures before the first hit though, sometimes that's all it takes with that crap.

Perhaps Lanza was using Meth since the typical profile of a user is white, male or female, low to middle income, 20s to 30s and resides in rural areas.
