The guy has only gotten his team to the playoffs 4 years straight, and soon to be a 5th year. Until today, his teams had never lost 2 in a row. That's pretty impressive. You might say that he had the players and that is why he got there, but the same could be said for now. He no longer has the players and that's why you are seeing what you are seeing. The Ravens were healthy for the better part of the last several years, but this year is a little different. For all of the accolades during preseasons about the depth on this team, it isn't so. The secondary is weak and without any pass rush, it is downright horrible. The worst offseason move, in hindsight, was letting Jared Johnson go. The Ravens are a good team that has had some fortunate breaks this year, but those breaks don't always go in your favor and usually even out over the course of a season. Personally, I think the real window of opportunity was the last two seasons. They lost a 14 point lead in Pittsburgh that would have resulted in hosting the Jets for the AFCC had they won. Everyone knows about last year. Those opportunities don't keep coming along. Now it appears that there are several cracks in the team that need to be repaired to be a legitimate superbowl threat.
