Thumbs down Flacco's brain is the size of a bird's! SERIOUSLY

It must be, because he looks so damn dumb running around in circles waiting to be stripped or sacked. Flacco and the word cerebral should never be used in the same sentence! I'm sick and tired of his lack of awareness and clumsy bull****. He doesn't deserve a huge contract like he and his agent are cooking up. He's a good guy but his inconsistent play is sickening. I was really hoping he would be better by year 5. I know I'll get bashed with statements like he has "most wins of in first 4 years in the NFL", "he's averaged 10 or 11 games very season", blah blah blah. Go back and watch each game and I bet he only looked really good in maybe 25% of his games. I realize in the NFL you take a win any way you can but he has a long way to go to be mentioned with upper tier QB's. I'll continue to watch the Ravens and be envious of the true QB's in the league and the young guns coming up. Yes, I do realize he's our best option on the team but I'm really getting frustrated

Let him walk. Eat a season. Draft someone new.

This is what he is right now. What we see every week is who he is. Do you want this guy as your QB for 6 more years?

I was a big Flacco believer but I can't do it anymore. It was embarrassing looking at him peeking back and running in circles. He didn't even look upfield for open receivers. Fire the coaching staff and start over with whoever the new coach wants. If he thinks Joe can succeed in his offense, then give him a chance, but at a minimum the coaching staff needs to change.

Internally the Ravens are nervous and disappointed in Joe. They thought (or hoped) by now he would be a far better QB but he hasn't delivered. Deep down they know they are stuck with him because the thought of drafting a QB is usually risky. I just hate to see them overpay him (which they will be forced to do) because there aren't many other options.

Fire Cam and franchise Flacco. Draft a QB fairly high up in the draft. If Flacco doesn't improve under a new offense then let him walk after his franchise year and groom the other guy. That's the only option I see them having right now.

Really?, I think his mind drifts off somewhere else other than finding his receivers

Flacco had a 121.4 QBR today? The interception he threw was deflected. I agree that some games he did not perform well, but he can't do it all. Is he supposed to play on defense too?

He lacks the intangibles and pocket awareness that almost all successful QB's.Unless EVERYTHING is perfect around him he will never be anything more than a moderately successful QB who will one week look like a top 5 QB and the next a rookie.

I agree. I like the guy enough but he simply doesnt have the intangibles to lead a team as flawed as this one deep into the playoffs.

I've just seen too many fumbles at crucial times. Sure Oher got beat but good lord does Joe have any peripheral vision? It just seems guys like Manning, or Marino in his day, would "feel" the rush and either move, throw the ball away, or take the sack.

Joe just stands there like a statue and gets stripped. And it seems to happen over and over.

Your memory on Dan Marino is blurred. He is 9th all-time in fumbles (110 in his career) and he has fumbled on crucial drives (my memory) just like Flacco. When a pocket breaks down quickly, any quarterback is vulnerable.

That actually makes sense. Assuming we have decent picks and there are good QB's available. Both big assumptions.

Flacco is not the brightest guy, it takes him much longer to go through his reads than even the average NFL QB. However, he played pretty well today and people need to settle down.

The problem today is so clearly our LB's it's not even funny. McLain McLellan Ayanbadejo are disasters. They do not fill gaps, shed single blocks or find anyone to cover. Flacco was bad in OT and most of 2nd half, but our LB issue is so much more of a problem than flacco.

For a guy who's supposed to have a great arm, he routinely underthrows deep passes to guys who have beaten their coverage by five yards, negating completions and TD's. Then, when you need a simple 5-10 yard pass, he throws 75% of them three feet over the receivers' heads.

You look at the receiving corps the Ravens have, and they should be eating teams alive. Unfortunately, Flacco simply doesn't have what it takes to be elite.

Kruger is the only one that's a sure keeper that was out there today. The others can be flushed rather easily.

I thought he was surrounded by defenders and never should have thrown it, being in FG range, that might have been one time to eat it and take a sack.

I'm a big Flacco fan but that sack and the int were not only Oher's fault but Joe should have put a blocker to that side. He missed a wide open slant for a TD if he gets rid of the ball. He seemed to be reacting very slowly today maybe it is because he is a new dad.

He missed the slant pass because he was hit and on the way down when he released the ball. Any QB, regardless of who he is, is only as good as his protection. He had good protection in first half, result being 3 td passes.
