Default You open the 3rd period with a 9 play

Yes a 9 play running drive only to get smart and than throw the ball? Talk about bad coaching but both the OC and DC have got to go. Harbs needs to wake up, put these guys on notice and start kicking ***. By the war Mr Reed where were you at on the last TD pass for Washington and heavens knows what defense we were in on the 2 point conversion. 53 and 50 were 5 yards deep in the end zone and a fat man could have run the ball in for 2 points.

I'm not going to blame Reed on the last TD play. The Ravens were playing 2-MAN coverage meaning the 2 Safeties play zone and the underneath guys play man to man. The Corner (#39) totally misplayed the coverage. He came up on Cousins pump fake and Cousins put enough air under the ball to get it over him and to Garcon for the TD. There was a receiver threating Reed's zone which is why he was late getting over to help.

On the 2 pt play, they were playing the same 2-MAN coverage but for some inexplicable reason, only had three linemen down at the LOS. So when then ball is snapped and the DB's drop into coverage....THERE IS ONLY ONE LB ON THE SECOND LEVEL.....MEANING THE REDSKINS HAD 5 GUYS TO BLOCK 4 DEFENDERS. In fact, the RB went and got the linebacker too. So the means the Redskins used SIX PEOPLE to block the RAVENS FOUR DEFENDERS IN THE BOX. The numbers in the box SCREAMED for a run play.

Stevie Wonder could've scored on that QB Draw.

I don't understand why you wouldn't blitz Cousins on EVERY play

When you have no one in your zone, when the QB rolls that way you roll to the coverage.

Correct but there was someone in Reed's zone and #39 left Garcon who his responsibility.
