Default Should the Ravens go after Philip Rivers next year?

Well he won't be in San Diego next year, and Flacco is a FA. So what do you think?

Whether you like Rivers or not, that guy is a competitor.

I like Flacco as person, but he is not a competitive guy. After his fumbles and really bad interceptions, its like, oh well.

You mean the same Phillip Rivers that's 4 slots below Flacco when it comes to QB rating?

Rivers has thrown more picks than Flacco

I'd draft a QB early and fix the "d" in the draft and through FA.

I'd franchise Joe, bring in a new OC and if Joe has another season like this one...well, let's see what happens.

Unless he can play left tackle my answer is NO!!!

Joe is not perfect but Rivers certainly isn't either. You have elite QBs and we know who they are. Then there is the 2nd tier of guys where Flacco fits in and then the dregs think anyone playing for the Jets and Arizona.

I'm saying no and leaving it at that since it was not one of your options.

The Ravens have bigger issues beyond Joe Flacco so no Philip Rivers is not the answer.

I say try to sign flacco and draft a qb! There are more Russell Wilson's out there, Andy Dalton was a 2cnd round pick. And if Flacco won't sign a 2cnd tier 3 yr. contract then I say let him walk and go sign an average qb for 2-3 yrs while grooming the draft pick. The Ravens are getting average qb play anyway so what will they loose? But there is no way I would franchise Flacco and pay him that much money, that would be to much against the cap.

I would like to see the O and D coordinators GO find other work. Then Build our pathetic Defense up in the draft over the next couple of years. I can live with Flacco !! Rarely do I see him try to make a Play under duress..But he certainly did twice in Redskins territory and that sealed the game for us.

Overrated. Does not raise the level of the players around him.

Oh yes they can. You watch, if Flacco has a bad game people are gonna say 'Thats because they are still running Cam's offense'. I bet money! (well ok not real money)

Never thought Cam was the only problem, but it was probably past time to try something / someone else. I was very surprised he made it through the off-season last year... some goofy, goofy game plans at JAX and at SEA went a long way to costing them having the AFC title game at home.

Rivers... no way. Not in a thousand years. Cutler-esque at times. Which is funny given their feelings towards each other. Put some age on Gates and take away Vincent Jackson and he's solidly out of the "top tier" or "elite" conversation.
