Not Happening buddy. Cam is one of the good old boys that will always have a job in the NFL Would be a great gift for the Holiday though.

The Baltimore Ravens fired offensive coordinator Cam Cameron Monday. Cameron told ABC2 News he was informed of the decision today.
There's no word on a replacement. Many believe former Colts Head Coach Jim Caldwell will replace him.

Confirmed . I didnt really have problem with how he called this game. Ravens scored 28 points and had alot yards on the ground. But it was a build up instead of the skins lost.

Kind of ironic he was fired after the best offensive road game of the year.

Not sure what the Raven's logic is here. The offense has sucked for the entire season and one game that wasnt the offense's fault they fire Cam? I agree he should be fired but it should have been at the end of LAST SEASON.

Best HALF of an offensive road game, that is. That's just the problem with Cam...he can't or WON'T ever finish games with the same stuff. We do NOT play like New England, and that IS a problem. Amen!!! Amen!!! Thank You Steve Bisciotti!!! A big cloud has just lifted!

he needed to go. his schemes and the waste of possessions where they go deep on the first down, get 1 yd on 2nd 3-4 on 3rd and punt, putting an already thin underschemed defense BACK on the field was his downfall.

now they need to get rid of dean "we don't cover the middle of the field" pees tomorrow.

there has to be someone on the staff who can scheme better than we have seen this year. The defense I have seen in 2012 is NOT Ravens Football, heck how about player/coach Ray Lewis for the rest of the year??

I guess we get to see how much oldcoltsfan really knows about football now. If Flacco all of the sudden now lights it up the rest of the season and through the playoffs then this will show he is pretty knowledgable about the game. If Flacco is still very inconsitent from one game to the next or even one half to the next, then he is just a donkey who just likes to whine.

He should never have been brought back from last year. I don't see the timing in it though. No team that I know of has ever fired a HC, OC, or DC this late in the season and gone onto playoff success. It's pretty much an admission that the team isn't going to make a run at the superbowl.

Has Caldwell ever been an OC? he has been a QB coach head coach, receiver coach, but i dont see a OC position on his resume. Do you think this is a 3 game tryout and we get someone else next year?

I do believe there are any number of up and coming offensive coaching talents out there that can very successfully replace Cam, and take us to the next level. This is where the search process BEGINS! They keep producing NEW ones you all know...just like players. That' s why we draft new talent. Let's find a smart, aggressive young guy who can take this as a big step forward, and the opportunity of a lifetime. Time to start looking!!!
