THERE ya are, Frank. DAMN, man...I thought you weren't going to make it to the party!! (Even though I'm not a real Ravens fan, I'm giddy happy for all the real Ravens fans who have suffered under the iron hand of Cam Cameron. Most of all, I'm happy for Joe. It's like he got a full pardon and an early release from a death row sentence.)

If Harbaugh thinks Cam is such an outstanding coach, how can he fully explain to the fans and media, why this outstanding coach was fired at this point in the season.

I am not saying Harbaugh should pounced on Cam because he got fired, but how can Harbaugh look the fans and the media in the eye and then say an outstanding coach just got fired and expect his statement to be believable.

Here's one piece of advice for John Boy:

"Hey, John...you're not happy with the call? GO COACH FOR ANOTHER TEAM!!!"

    Default Well....

I've had plenty of times that I just didn't understand what Cameron was up to, if anything. Obviously not being able to finish off an opponent has been frustrating. I was happy at first how the Offense has seemed to be more productive, but they've either had a hard time just getting started, or they stall after showing that they can score earlier. There just isn't any consistency. A problem for sure but not what I felt was the major one.

My major gripe with this season has been more with Pees. Injuries notwithstanding, how does a consistently top rated defense fall to almost last in the league. The Defense hasn't really shown that they have been able to stop Anyone this year. Sure there have been injuries to "Key" players but after all, it's a Team right? I just don't buy that losing 2 or 3 "Stars" turns your whole team into Crap! Most unnerving yesterday was after RG III gets knocked out, their Rookie Backup comes in and delivers the KO punch! That's Got to be Bad Coaching decisions.

I have been complaining more about Pees all year and not so much about Cameron. After all, the D has been letting the other teams back in the game when they should have been able to hold on.

He doesn't, nor does he care. I just don't get the obsession so many of us have with wanting the coach to "call out" his staff / players in front of the microphone (or in a written statement). If you've played any sort of organized sport at any level (little league on up) you might recall that how a coach interacts with individuals / in private tends to be different than how they interact with the team as a whole, or parents, or media, whatever.

And coaches who embarrass / denigrate their personnel in front of the masses usually wind up "losing the locker room" a hell of a lot faster than those who don't...

Worked brilliantly when he sacked Cavanaguh and Fassell.

I have to admit that I was suprised by the timing, but I am not saddened by the move. I wonder what the straw was that finally broke the camel's back?

Which is why I don't think this move is going to have the miraculous effect some here think it will. Good luck beating Denver, NE, or Houston in the playoffs with the way our D has performed. I'm not a Cam fan but the D gets plenty of blame in the losses

Agreed. 28 points should be enough to win an NFL game with a decent defense. Losing first to Methusaleh Batch and then to Cousins who until yestrday had only taken approx 9 snaps in the NFL certainly not Cameron' fault. If the defense, especially the so called pass defense, plays against Manning this Sunday the way they have played the last two weeks then Caldwell and Flacco better think of a way to score around 42 points if they are going to win. This team' s problems go alot deeper than Cameron.

Cam didn't leave Garcon open in the corner of the end zone yesterday, tho his firing (IMO) was overdue.

Last year was the Ravens year.

    Too many injuries this year...

Also running up the score on a clearly beaten Oakland team with the fake field goal. Pure bush league BS. Then acting like a petulant child because Tomlin would not give him a bear hug after the Steelers loss. Hope he follows his buddy Cam out the door.

Just out of curiosity, what do you consider a bust. Rivers had a 91 qb rating his first full season under Cam. That is far from a bust imo especially for his first full season. His rating for the following year under a different OC actually dropped after Cam left. Do you guys just throw out crap and hope everyone believes you?

Great news for this year - hope returns.

BUT Fantastic news for next year - Flacco indeed unleashed.

That was one fault. I'd say his BIGGEST fault is that he was a horrible communicator who refused to take anyone else's input into consideration; he did NOT communicate well with his own QB; and that, along with his arrogance, was ultimately his downfall, IMO.
