Dieser Weg wird kein leichter sein; dieser Weg wird steinig und schwer.
Nicht mit vielen wirst du dir einig sein, doch dieses Leben bietet so viel mehr. --Xavier Naidoo
Yeah they have reindeer, candy canes, and other stuff on the ground, but the angels were the only ones suspended in air on the light posts.
Maybe because angels can fly??? Hmmm..
Isnt that an Orthodox Jewish organization? Before you and the Marshmellow Man misconstrue what I am objecting to it is not that the Menorah is being displayed on public land. Fine with me during Hanukah. My objection is that if any Christian organization tried to put up a Nativity scene on public property there would be the ACLU representing some atheist or sad to say some Jewish person or organization filing suit to stop it. Happens all the time this time of year.
Religious prejudice, period. How long would a 30' tall crucifix at the inner harbor be around or even permitted for that matter? Hell, even the term "Merry Christmas" is considered politically incorrect.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
You people crack me up
I've always been confused as to why people get all worked up about displays of holiday decorations -- Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Kwanzaa -- whatever. To borrow a phrase, "If thine eyes offended thee, pluck them out."
My beliefs are not "better" than yours; yours are not better than mine. We believe what we believe. Try a little respect for a change.
