    The $64,000.00 question remains: did the unempoyed actually find full-time employmeny, or was this a product of part-time holiday hires, or, unemployed who simpluy gave up looking? When people do that, the government counts them as finding a job. All depends on how the agencies and the media <read: democrats> spin it.

    So why isn't Baltimore more prosperous? Why is it still a tax drag on the rest of the State?

    I highly doubt that the "Arts Industry" contributes $!B to the State's economy. 11,000 full-time jobs?? They must use a very expansive definition of arts. Perhaps they're counting revenues that Hollywood films generate while showing in MD?

    The median sale price of a home in the Baltimore area increased 3.5 percent in November to $230,000, up from $222,250 in the same month last year. Compared with October, the median sales price held steady.

    The median number of days homes stayed on the market declined 41 percent in November to 48, down from 81 in the same month a year ago.

    Condos had the sharpest gain, up 50 percent from November 2011, followed by townhomes at 22.3 percent, and single-family homes up 20.4 percent
