You'll probably never see Paul VI, DeMatha, MSJ, or Calvert Hall in the Academy

That would be an amazing lineup but I will believe it when I see it. When was the last time DeMatha came to Bmore and played? Has Paul VI ever come?

I don't believe DeMatha has actually come into Bmore and played since the infamous Skip Wise game at the Civic Center.

Paul VI played at MSJ a couple times in the early 90's.

I saw Danny Ferry and DeMatha lose to CHC with Duane Ferrell in the 1st National Bank Charm City Classic at Towson University. I think it was '82-'83. Still got the program and Baltimore Sun article in a box somewhere in my basement.

PVI has had some sweet teams over the years of late. Teams that could beat anyone in the DMV to include any B-More team in my opinion.

Calvert Hall usually plays a tough Baltimore county or city team every year. Paul VI played at Lake Clifton in the 90s. Paul VI loss to Lake. Maybe the MIAA should have a 16 team tornament with the best city schools and the WCAc top teams

City beat Patterson and Dunbar lost to Lake Clifton. City is alone in first, undefeated in the city league with games against Edmondson, Dunbar and Poly coming up to close out the regular season. The interesting thing is that they're all City.

Default Results from the Maryland Challenge

Dunbar outscored John Carroll 17-5 in the 3rd quarter and held on for a 69-58 win.

St Frances beat Spingarn 82-71 in Double OT.

Theodore Roosevelt held off Milford 77-69. Milford cut the lead to three a couple times in the final quarter but couldn't get over the hump. Roosevelt remains undefeated.

City lost to Edmondson 61-57 after taking an 8 pt. lead into the 4th qtr. Second straight meltdown with a big 4th qtr lead. I have my opinion but I'll leave it alone.

Milford was robbed.. 7 point turnaround because of unwarranted technical fouls called. Home cooking. Milford was the better team. Neither team played great defensively, but Milford backcourt was good and Elijah killed on the offensive glass.

Default Big upset in Baltimore County

Owings Mills got a layup from Ceontay Coit with 1.7 seconds remaining as the Eagles knock off Randallstown 63-61. This means that the winner of Wednesday's game between Randallstown and New Town will win the 1A/2A division and clinch a spot in the County Championship game on the Feb 19th.

Just as expected Coach Daniel is getting it done at New Town. One man's trash is another man's treasure. I talked to him last summer and he had City on the brink of becoming a national power but the powers that be chose to let him go. One of the most stupid moves in the history of the school and we date back to 1839. Yes, I'm still salty but congrats to him as he closes in on win no. 500.

New Town has never been void of talent. The prior coach just didn't know how to use it. If Daniel and the Titans can win on Wednesday, it will say alot. Randallstown has the better talent, they are coming off a loss, and they want another shot at Milford in the worse way.

    Default A quick FYI

Dunbar gets its crack at undefeated Theodore Roosevelt this Saturday at Northwestern High School in PG County. I'll post the time soon as I find out.

Coolidge blew out Theodore Roosevelt today 64-46. It will still be a big game for Dunbar though.
