That's a shame. I would have considered Franchot. I'm not on board with all of his beliefs, but at least he is honest and not afraid to take a stance against the establishment. I would also support Jim Brochin, but I doubt he has enough experience or statewide name recognition to run. Can't comment on Brown, after 6 years I don't anything more about him other than he looks good at ribbon cutting ceremonies. But anybody has to be better than O'malley in the long run.

Doug Gansler will clean Brown's clock in a primary. Gansler has personality and he's raising lots of money.

That may be true in a two person primary. But if Ken Ulman also runs, then he and Gansler may split the MoCo-HoCo vote and Brown could take the primary.

Demographics will greatly help Anthony Brown easily defeat Gansler. Brown already has the party machine behind him.

An AA candidate is no longer a novilty. Brown is BORING. MOM is the only real machine behind him. Doug is raising a lot of money and keeping a high profile. Gansler has a record and Brown has MOM around his neck.

Mr. Franchot will be more effective as Comptroller. Shame, I would have crossed party lines for the one and only official with the stones to stand up to tax-lover OWE'Malley and his cronies.

No one is as boring as Martin O'Malley.

I would vote for Brown if it means keeping Gansler out.
