Default Career criminal shoplifter says she did it to look good for job interview

Renee Negron of Spring Hill told sheriff's deputies she stole a hat and various health and beauty items at Walmart because she was unemployed and wanted to look good while job hunting.

A store asset protection employee told deputies she observed Negron, 46, take an empty plastic Walmart bag from a register and place items into it as she went to different sections of the store, at 13300 Cortez Blvd.

An ambitious thief, imagine that. I hope she didn't kill anyone.

I'm curious. What part of the story mentions that this woman is a "career criminal"? Cause I musta missed it

I think that was spots own little play on words.. Not a "career criminal" how we would normally think of it but a "career criminal" in the sense that she was a criminal in pursuit of a career.

I hate threads where the OP doesn't say where something happens. How many Cortez Boulevards are there in the United States.

Of course, some of the newspaper and TV station websites aren't very helpful in telling us where they are located, either. Don't their web designers realize that people from around the world can access the site?

OK, I finally clicked on the link. It cites the Tampa Tribune and Tampa Times on the masthead, so I'll assume that it comes from Florida. However, the name of the state cannot be found on that page.
