Has our President spoken out about the various acts of violence that took place?
Has our President spoken out about the various acts of violence that took place?
No he has not.
My children are my legacy.
I am surprised. He very much supported the unions as this situation was unfurling.
Are you talking about the president of Fox news?
He should probably explain why his reporter knocked down a union protestor then edited the tape to make his retaliation look unprovoked.
If you mean Obama, why should he bother to talk about the latest Fox news hoax the gullibles fell for?
She was speaking about President Obama.
My children are my legacy.
No, really?![]()
That's right, you think normal taxation is extortion at the point of a gun; what else should I expect.
All this talk about violence and outrage over a few bloody noses and a spilled apple cart -- you want to see real union violence: Google Blair Mountain, West Virginia, 1920.
This right-wing, corporate power grab jeopardizes people's jobs and their standard of living; what do you expect?
That "spilled apple cart" was the man's source of income. You know -- someone EARNING his way in life. Not that it matters to you, of course.
Fortunately, the community has rallied and will replace his "spilled" cart. That's the only decent story that has come out of this situation.
If you refused to pay your taxes then what do you think would happen? I'll place my wager on men with guns coming for a talk with you.
From time to time ask yourself this, "If I personally did what the government did would the government put me in jail for it?" If the answer is 'yes' then maybe you should reconsider whether the government should be doing such a thing.
If I personally forced you pay for a service you didn't ask for and didn't want would the government put me in jail for it? What do you think?
I'm guessing 'yes'.
Or one could fast forward to more current events like a threat of a civil war.All this talk about violence and outrage over a few bloody noses and a spilled apple cart -- you want to see real union violence: Google Blair Mountain, West Virginia, 1920.
Progressives being violent. What did you expect? This right-wing, corporate power grab jeopardizes people's jobs and their standard of living; what do you expect?
Semi,
you don't have to pay taxes if you don't want to. There are ways around paying taxes...
Real enough for you?Teamsters President Jim Hoffa is predicting a “civil war” in Michigan in the wake of Gov. Rick Snyder signing a right-to-work bill into law.
“This is just the first round of a battle that’s going to divide this state,” Hoffa said on CNN on Tuesday. “We’re going to have a civil war in this state.”
Taxation IS slavery by your logic it seems.
IMO, taxation is the price we pay to live in a civilized society. All the countries in the world with no taxation, or weak tax collection are crappy places to live.
You can live off the grid and not pay taxes or you can leave the US and move to one of those tax-free, but corrupt, paradises. No one is pointing a gun at your head forcing you to live in society and pay taxes.
I usually refer to it as thievery as it is not a direct theft of labor.
That is a contradiction. How civilized is the normalization of force?IMO, taxation is the price we pay to live in a civilized society.
Is it because of weak taxation or is it due to other things, like dictators struggling to be the tax collector? All the countries in the world with no taxation, or weak tax collection are crappy places to live.
Wouldn't the simpler, more ethical solution, be to stop having government point guns at our head. You know, be civilized? You can live off the grid and not pay taxes or you can leave the US and move to one of those tax-free, but corrupt, paradises. No one is pointing a gun at your head forcing you to live in society and pay taxes.
When will the progressive greed for more and more taxes be satiated?
