Default Baltimore Sun could be put up for sale

The Baltimore Sun could be put up for sale by owner Tribune Co., Bloomberg News reports.

Tribune, which filed for bankruptcy protection four years ago, is preparing to exit Chapter 11, and is interviewing bankers about selling some of its papers, Bloomberg reports, citing unnamed sources.

Tribune owns the Baltimore Sun, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times and five other daily papers. It gained the Baltimore Sun when owner Times Mirror Co. merged with Tribune in 2000.

    Reasons for the Sun's demise:

    The Internet...

The Internet does have quicker news dissemination BUT I think the real reason the Internet is to partially to blame is that the Internet provides quicker CORRECTION to the bias that the Sun was quick to display.

I really used to enjoy reading the paper over coffee but as the paper became more and more anti-American* AND as the internet showed their bias, I gave up on the paper.

    The reporting...

I actually handled crimes, then read the Sun's article and wondered if we were talking about the same incident.

From reading articles about CRIMES that I had handled, I came to believe that the reporters never left the building. From reading the op/ed pieces I came to believe that the writers NEVER actually left the building either

    The bias...

Anyone reading the Sun can not miss the SEVERE anti-American* bias.

The refusal to even acknowledge its bias...

Ask any Sun writer and they will have no idea that they are bias. That says alot right there.
