The Baltimore Police Warrant Apprehension Task Force found Tavon William-Arthur Barnett on Tuesday and charged him with first- and second-degree murder in the Nov. 3 killing of Terrance Seale, 29, in Northeast Baltimore.
According to Seale's wife, Marie, Terrance Seale had left his apartment in the New Northwood neighborhood briefly to warm up his car, then returned with Barnett, an acquaintance.
While in the kitchen, police said, Barnett fired several shots from a handgun, striking Seale in the head and torso. Barnett then fled the apartment without injuring Marie Seale or the couple's sons, ages 3 and 5, police said.
