Seems to me that I see a pattern here. Harbaugh is scared of his own shadow, too, and he surrounds himself with others who are as cautious as he is, or more. We can throw Coach Pees in there, too. They have an unimaginative, play-it-safe mantra that pervades the organization on the field, and that doesn't win ballgames against top clubs.
And with regard to whether or not Caldwell will call plays from the booth or from the field, his response: "It all depends on what John Harbaugh wants". Dude...YOU'RE the new OC. You call the plays from wherever YOU want. What does the head coach know about where you should call plays from?!!! So I certainly won't expect a firebrand from Caldwell. Let's just see how that all plays out.

Caldwell will be calling plays from the booth and it was his choice based on a inside source (me tweeting Aaron Wilson). Please stop worrying about what Harbaugh says to the media, the Harbaugh brothers both suck when it comes to talking to the media. I'm not going to stress about what Harbaugh says to the media anymore, what's the point. On another note I found out from an inside source that the mutiny meeting wasn't about pads but instead it was about Cameron.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Sugar...but didn't your 'inside' source tell you that the contract with Joe would get done? And didn't your inside source say that Cam Cameron wasn't going anywhere?

    Not provokin...
    just askin...

Hey things change so as it relates to Joe's contract and Cam's job status what has happened on the field has changed the direction of those two situations. I like Joe but he hasn't helped in boosting up his value far as his contract in recent weeks and no one could have predicted that Cameron would be fired before the season ended. I just go on what I hear, sources aren't always accurate but you just go by what you hear at a particular time.

N/P. I'm good with change, especially change for the better. I was just thinking back to some of your previous "inside source" posts and thought I remembered the two I mentioned. Keep 'em comin!!

    Peace.
