According to the Late for Work on the Ravens website Roger GREEDell wants to expand the playoffs to include either 14 or 16 teams. Unbelievable. Does this guy hold meetings just to come up with more ways he can further water down and ruin the NFL?

Great. Just like basketball and hockey in June, soon, we'll be able to watch football in April.
The NFL regular season and playoffs are perfect. Why mess with a proven success and cash cow?
Too many teams go to the playoff now...
More games, longer season and Thursday night games here to stay. Good thing they care about players safety.
I'd prefer they eliminate the automatic home game for division winners and leave the rest alone. Too bad they can expand it this year though to make up for any team who might be screwed over Seattle having an extra win they didn't get.
Based on 2011 a 9-7 and 8-8 team would have made the playoffs as the extra teams. However, going back to 2010, a 10-6 team would have made the playoffs as the extra team. In 2008 the 11-5 Patriots didn't make it.
I think adding one team per conference and doing away with the 2nd seed bye might work. It only adds one more game to the playoff. But more teams have a shot near the end.
I vote yes to 14 teams in the playoffs. But I also vote to abolish Thursday Night Football except for Thanks Giving.
He brought up the expansion to change the subject from an embarrassing bounty case that blew up in his face.

Can we go a couple weeks or a month without Goodell proposing all these changes to football? 2 weeks ago it was no blocks below the waist, last week it was lets not have a kickoff and now this. Personally I think he brought this up because it was the same day Paul went against his decision to suspend the Saints players. He just wanted a distraction from another one of his failures.
I have a feeling it goes beyond the lockout, what with you falsely accusing him of not providing benefits for his employees and all. Seriously, why don't you just open up and tell us all about the day Steve Bisciotti pissed on your Cheerios. It might do you good to get it off your chest.
Let's just give everybody a trophy before the opening-day games and get it over with.
Oh, and while we're at it, given all the new girly-girl rules, let's change the uniforms to dresses.
