Brown lost to Warren but he's still very popular plus he's won a special election for the Senate before. I think Governor Patrick could beat Brown in a special election but I don't thing Patrick wants to run for the Senate.
Republicans have been pretty certain about a number of things before only to see them not happen. Even so, if you believe Kerry is the best choice for SOS, isn't putting him there the responsible thing to do in the best interests of the country, or is it better to nominate someone less qualified so that your party can save a seat?

The Democrats have plenty of time to prepare because a Special Election to replace Kerry can't take place for at least 145 days from the time Kerry steps down so it will be the middle of June 2013 before an election can be held.

Any chance Gov Patrick would run?

I think that is what the President would like but I think Patrick might have his sights a little higher as Attorney General!

Were the four Americans murdered by obama before or after the consulate in Benghazi was vacated?

No depth to which you won't sink?

Why do you keep spitting on the graves of dead Americans for cheap political shots?

I'm sure that if you had a conscience you'd be ashamed.

Hardly. Nothing -- no facts whatsoever -- have supported your lies.

And you still wonder why people that think like you got beaten so badly and rejected in November? The mind boggles!

All the lyberals defending Mzzzzzz Rice for quitting were probably some of the same people who called Governor Sarah Palin a quitter when she left office.

I honestly, believe that the president asked her to remove her name.

Just a feeling in your water Mom, or do you have some real source like an obscure French tabloid to base your opinion on?

Sarah Palin was elected as Governor by the people of Alaska and quit. What position did Rice get elected to?

Nice try, but your comparison doesn't work at all.

Probably the same reason he asked Patraeus to resign. A Benghazi connection?
