What happens is that you made a good point, that Mom49 and others couldn't refute in any way, so they resorted to trying to shame you. Pretty weak.

Please point out where I said the "left wing" were the ones politicizing Sandy Hook? I said politicians including Obama. That is not a lie and it isn't demonizing.

    World English Dictionary
    demonize or demonise (ˈdiːməˌnaɪz)

    — vb
    1. to make into or like a demon
    2. to subject to demonic influence
    3. to mark out or describe as evil or culpable: the technique of demonizing the enemy in the run-up to war

And I disagree that it won't make a difference - I believe it will make a great deal of difference, but the background checks would be most effective I feel.
Fine that is your opinion so perhaps you can explain how a ban would prevent tragedies like Sandy Hook in the future. There are millions of those weapons already out there. Do you think a ban is going to make them all disappear?

I stand by what I said that the NRA, and only the NRA, has politicized this. Oops, looks like I hit a nerve. I know facts and logic are lost on the gun nutters, and you calling it crap just increases the article's credibility. Thank you for that, we really love low-IQ people like you.
I don't know how you can say only the NRA has politicized it when the bodies of the children weren't even cold before the calls for gun bans were heard from the politicians. And it doesn't hit a nerve with me, I have no investment in the NRA and I am not a member. And what are you saying I called crap? I didn't say any article was crap you must be thinking about someone else.

And again, you just can't seem to make a post without an insult (which is a personal attack) in it can you? And who is "we"? Who else are you speaking for? Like I said before. PATHETIC.

You said anti-gun politicians. That is pretty much left-wingers unless you can name 3 or more Republicans you consider "anti-gun".

The harder it is for criminals to obtain guns, the less gun violence there will be.

    That was directed at markh.

"We" being those of us interested in implementing more gun control.

It is already illegal for criminals to buy guns from legitimate sources. How is a gun ban going to keep them from getting them from illegal sources?

    That was directed at markh.
Then why direct it at me?

Why can't you just speak for yourself? I am sure your allies would appreciate it.

Like I said, reducing the ways criminals can get guns can only help. Background checks are most important, and I've never advocated for a complete gun ban.

    It wasn't! Read my post!

Who said anything about a complete gun ban, I stated that the politcians were calling for an AWB. And I don't oppose trying to keep people who are mentally unstable from obtaining guns.

    You are right, my apologies.

This post demonstrates clearly the LWNJ mentality, see no evil on one side, and all of it on the other.

Only a delusional nutter would actually believe that SH has not been politicized by the left.

    "Delusional nutter" LMAO.

    Look in the mirror.

Gun control was not even on Obama's/Democrats' agenda until Sandy Hook. They weren't like "See, 20 children dead, we were right". So you really can't say this was a political game they played, the only ones politicizing it was the NRA.

NRA is still sending robocalls as far as I know, so the evidence is right under your little racist nose.

Actually they both ended up being "lifetime members".

Considering how many guns the Lanzas had, did more guns equal less violence?

I keep hearing that it does.

Shop that sold gun to Newtown shooter's mom loses license
    Published April 05, 2013

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives revoked the license of Riverview Gun Sales in East Windsor, about 15 miles north of Hartford, in December. The agency didn't disclose why. It was first reported Thursday by The Journal News of White Plains, N.Y.

Authorities raided the store for undisclosed reasons shortly after the December school shootings. Around the same time, a man was arrested for stealing a rifle from the shop.

Of course. More guns equals less crime. Flawless logic.
