Imo, this is a bad move for the Jays - but I like the initiative.
Knuckleballers are violatile.
Still, I see what the Jays are thinking here.
They are starting pitching away from making a move in the AL East, and they don't need a total revamp, just a couple of guys.
If they get similar production out of him in '13, they will have committed a short term coup - but if D'Arnaud works out, they make have their next franchise player.
On the other hand, this is the type of move the Mets need to make.
The perpetual losing and poor development system should make this team desperate to get younger.
