Ah, excuse moi.
The Second Amendment has been effectively banned.
The right to bear arms is no longer a RIGHT but a state CONTROLLED PRIVILEGE which can dissipate at any time.
But again I remind you that banning guns merely places their sales in the BLACKMARKET.
They will be more expensive but they will be available.
So there is NOTHING NOTHING that you flockers can do to prevent their availabity - NOTHING.
So call the stupid mo'fos in Hartford and tell them to cease and desist the GUN FREE ZONES Bullshiite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
.
Absolutely wrong.
Whether you like it or not, we are all subsidizing the critically ill. Insurance rates are driven by Insurance payouts. When grandma and grandpa get lung cancer, or emphysema due to decades of smoking....we all pay, albeit, indirectly.
Now, we also have the issue of secondary smoke.
You are incredibly naive.
In 2011, NRA Shot Down CT Law To Limit 30-Shot Magazines
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2012-1...-pressure.html
The NRA should celebrate their victory at Newport.Magazines that fed bullets into the primary firearm used to kill 26 children and adults at a Connecticut school would have been banned under state legislation that the National Rifle Association and gunmakers successfully fought.
...
A proposal in March 2011 would have made it a felony to possess magazines with more than 10 bullets and required owners to surrender them to law enforcement or remove them from the state. Opponents sent more than 30,000 e-mails and letters to state lawmakers as part of a campaign organized by the NRA and other gun advocates, said Robert Crook, head of the Hartford- based Coalition of Connecticut Sportsmen, which opposed the legislation.
“The legislators got swamped by NRA emails,” said Betty Gallo, who lobbied on behalf of the legislation for Southport- based Connecticut Against Gun Violence. “They were scared of the NRA and the political backlash.”
Also, more evidence the thread title is a lie.
Oh noes and stuffs! 30 rounds!
One barrio/ghetto/trailer park Libbie uterine pe(s)t firing on mere burst mode can do far more damage than 30 rounds and stuffs (oh noes).
Out of a sense of curiosity... how difficult would it be to make one's own firearms under the assumption that the fascists have their wildest Hitlerian dreams come true? Not that difficult at all.
A basic machine shop (working with hands and stuffs) set-up can readily handle production.
Overkill with even more overkill being the Sherline equivalent. A manual lathe and drill press will work just fine for a fraction of the cost and without having to learn G-Code.
Raw materials.
Plans.
And there you have it (minus the techniques for rifling for the purpose of spin-stabilizing the bullet about its local yaw-axis of rotation). Looks like government, 'for the children,' 'safety issues' and mollycoddling the fear-addled will also have to ban machine shops, home CNC machines, drill presses, lathes, hand tools, raw materials, the Interwebs, manufacturing and anybody with even a little knowledge of mechanical engineering.
