Default Surprise! Dem Congressman says Barry Obama needs to "exploit" CT shooting tragedy

Nadler was asked whether the Newtown tragedy could be the turning point in many Democrats’ longstanding struggle to enact stronger gun laws.

“I think we will be there if the president exploits it, and otherwise we’ll go on to the next” incident, Mr. Nadler said.

Maybe Barry can invite everyone over to the White House to sit around and drink beer ...

    From the posted link:

A veteran Democratic lawmaker believes the nation will go along with stronger gun control laws if President Obama “exploits” the Newtown, Conn., tragedy and nudges Congress to action.

Really you guys? Several posters, slapshot for one, have done nothing but exploit this tragedy. I'll look over the threads to see if I can locate your faux outrage.

And it is faux outrage, just for the sake of arguing on here.

I don't see Mom here talking about how it is so wrong to politicalize this tragedy.....I guess she only sees the posts of some but not others.

If you had named names other than just one left leaning I would agree with you but I have seen Mom today, do a similar thing but not to a right leaner.

How about dissolved? In boiling acid, perhaps?

A couple people rode me about "politicizing" and all I said was to the affect that the 2nd amendment was viewed as scripture by too many people. I didn't say democrat, republican or any party affiliates name.

How about the 5th amendment? Is that viewed as "scripture"? Isn't it outdated and archaic that we not force people to testify against themselves? After all, we would all be a lot safer if we could force people accused of crimes to self-incriminate (or else).

And I think we shouldn't' view the 4th Amendment as scripture either. Let's allow the police to search and seize us whenever they wish. After all, that would catch a lot of criminals and seize a lot of dangerous guns if only the police weren't restricted by that archaic idea of allowing people the right to be secure in their persons or homes.

And it goes without saying that the 1st Amendment should stop being viewed as "scripture" by the leftist media who think they can say and print whatever criticism of the Govt they wish. Just think of how happier and satisfied people would be if they weren't made aware of so much bad news, or if they were told where to worship, or if the Govt banned peaceful protest gatherings.

And I'll bet we could save a TON of money by housing soldiers in the homes of private citizens. To hell with the scripture-like 3rd Amendment.

    Damn that pesky Constitution.
