After further investigation, police determined that Kang and at least two other people were involved in an altercation outside Charles Village Pub, and Kang threw a Gatorade bottle at a woman while leaving the bar.
Police said a fight ensued, at which point Kang fired five shots with a handgun—one of which hit a man in the hand and caused what police called “a minor gunshot wound.” The man’s condition is unkown, police said.
Kang has also been charged of first-degree assault and use of a handgun while committing a felony, and is being held without bail at Baltimore County Detention Center.
