Autism and depression aren't the problem. More severe types of illness are.
The public's knowledge of mental illness is piss-poor, leading to misunderstandings, incarceration and worse.

I knew it was starting when Jon Stewart starting making his comments. You could tell he was trying not to piss off a lot of his audience and saying "there needs to be a gun debate" - but is that the biggest issue of our time?
I said that, just like cars, you shouldn't have to have a license to own a car, just a license to use it.

The biggest issue here is that people treat death as if it is he ultimate worst thing - when the reality is that it is just a part of life.
