Well it seems to me that the "tried and proven method" has gotten us to where we are today, which is not a very happy place.

Can we legislate these types of crimes away? I don't think we can. We can make these things harder to get, but it is our right to have them (whether they're needed or not). The problem, IMO, is not that there are guns. There are lots of places in the world where people have guns and this kind of stuff is disproportionately rarer in those places.

Basically, I don't know what the **** to do, or what the hell our problem is. I just know that something has to be done. It probably should start with looking at mental health issues, making people more aware of the signs, and less afraid to seek help for them.

You've admitted that pedantic PSAs don't work. No one likes to be preached to.

Why isn't any leftwing media slandering the pathetic loser that killed those kids?

The media has full power to repeat again and again that his behavior is pathetic and that he was a socially awkward loser, but it's not doing so.

    Why?

The one shot to the head is total bull****. A deers head is actually a small target, a heart/lung shot IS in fact the shot placement one wants. Where did you hear that IDIOTIC head shot NONSENSE?

I own several rifles and handguns, my go to deer favorites are a Win Mod 70 in 06 the other a Browning Safari also in 06. For sporting "fun" a 44 Mag revolver, I've taken multiple deer with all of them but NEVER have I targeted the head, always heart/lungs all because it's affords a larger target and it's lethal 100% of the time with little loss of meat.
