If this was Texas, the "school employees" would've shot her lowlife ***. Come on Marty-land, get with the program - arm the teachers!

    Hi B,

Both guns and knives can kill. At close range a knife is just as lethal and (in my opinion) much more brutal (a 'slice' injury is MUCH more visual and sickening). Also, at close range, and in the hands of an expert, a knife can be used before a gun user can even pull out his gun.

Again, in the hands of an expert and in close range a knive is just as deadly to the group of people as a gun would be. The media downplays how dangerous 'edged weapons' are to the point where most people just ignore them.

In my travels as a Lawman I had the misfortune to encounter a first year psyc student from Towson University.

She repeatedly reminded me that GUNS were evil and would kill people. Further, criminals would not use knives as guns were evil and would kill people. (I am not making that up). Still further, she was glad to remind me that I was only a cop therefore I would not know what was dangerous and what wasn't. (She was a first year student so obviously she knew everything there was to know).

It is not sad that she was so uninformed, after all everyone has the constitutional right to be a flaming idiot. What is sad is that so many people will gladly accept her advice, since (gasp) she goes to college.

Oh that's choice coming from you. Give me a break. "What's the world coming to?" Check your own neighborhood. Check the crime stats for your beloved Baltimore city. Check the crime stats for where you work. THAT is what the world is coming to.

Where's you beloved NAACP on all this violence in schools, including the recent shootings at Morgan State?

And these are the same idiots that'll declare somone else as "mentally inncompetent." Scary.

People that think this way are totally oblivious to the fact that, if it wasn't for people/countries being able to arm themselves to defend themselves against their adversaries and tyranny, she more than likely wouldn't have the right to even speak her own ideas.

I don't live in Baltimore City, I live in White Marsh. As usual you have no clue what you're talking about.

BK, you know all black people live in Baltimore City, except the ones who have subsidized county housing.

I think I'd better report that little tidbit to the bank I pay my mortgage to. I think they've been overcharging me
