    Default MSP investigating motel death of Havre De Grace woman

    On December 17, 2012, at approximately 1259 hours, Troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barrack, where dispatched to the Edgewood Motel, located at 2209 Pulaski Highway, Edgewood, Maryland 21040, for a female subject unresponsive. Upon their arrival, the troopers located a female subject unconscious in her room. Paramedics from Joppa-Magnolia Fire Company pronounced the subject deceased at 1304 hours.

    The deceased female was later identified as Melissa Marie Miceli, 33 years old of Havre De Grace. Troopers from the Maryland State Police Bel Air Barracks executed a search warrant on the above location, and located several personnel items to include a purse, wallet, and miscellaneous clothing.

    She seems to have been a really nice girl.

    Since they didn't find her dead until Monday, the cops might want to talk to that girl that posted 'R.I.P Melissa' on her Facebook page on Saturday.

    My guess? Short investigation. But yes, if there was an RIP on her facebook before the body was found I would be looking at some of her "friends". Hard.

    It also looks like she just got home from rehab.

    Quite a sad story, Motel workers probably see it all. Also, it's a chance that the family or friends knew of the incident prior to the media reporting that the body was found.

    How do you distinguish if this mention crime was performed by a white person? It becomes visible you give genghiskhanraven and Jeebus a pass when a crime is committed by a person of color?
