How many practice squad players or players who play special teams, played most of the game. I know of at least 7 and maybe 10 saw a lot of action in this game. You can't expect to win with so little talent on the field. I say we are in the playoffs, if ever a team needs to rest it's players for a couple weeks it is the Ravens...they may lose but will be frsh for the real season.

I would love to know the statistics on teams first round record who rested starters to end the year. I know a 7-9 Seattle team who beat a good *** Saints squad a few years ago. But I totally see what you're saying.

That second and third string defense gave a (mostly) first team offense every chance to be in that game, but the O did not seize the opportunity.

I'd rest only the guys who are trying to play through serious injuries.

Totally agree. The defense played well but considering the amount of time they were on the field it was only a matter of time before God Manning scored. Offense was horrible.

I agree Nhgahta (sp) Ray, Reed, Williams etc should sit. Even Flacco to allow what I think is a tired arm to rest. Maybe Rice and sit Oher for a game. It would not hurt as we will probably win anyway. The Giants are bad as is Cincy but winning against them only makes us a 1 home game playoff anyway. I really don't care who we play and actually think we could berat anyone with a rested ,healed team

The Giants aren't as bad as you think. But they've been a Jeykle/Hyde kind of team this year and you never know which Giants team you're going to get. They've got their backs up against the wall now and need to win out to get into the playoffs.
