Default Ted Nugent says ~ 'Slaughter' Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security...

"The three sacred entitlement cows in the room that no politician wants to poke are Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid," Nugent wrote. "A blinding statement of the obvious is that we are never going to get our financial house in order until these sacred entitlement cows are not only poked, but slaughtered."

Nice choice of words. When you allow an idiot like Ted Nugent to represent your organization, it's probably a wise move to shut down your web site for a while after a national tragedy. At least Discovery had the sense to immediately cancel Ted Nugent's Gun Country ~ but that too was probably out of concern after the latest massacre of innocents.

Nugent said that December 3rd or 4th.
    Do you have a point?

Speaking of idiots, Barack Hussein Obama, America's largest International Gun Runner, supplying "assault rifles" to outlaw drug gangs, which has killed hundreds of Mexicans, including a room full of children celebrating a birthday party in 2010 (no Obama crocodile tears for them), said to his followers, “I’m itching for a fight.” ... Punish your enemies.”...We talk to these folks… so I know whose *** to kick.”... “Get in Their Faces!” ... hand to hand combat” ... “They Bring a Knife…We Bring a Gun”

Yes. Nugent's an idiot. And when you have an idiot acting as one of your main organizational mouthpieces, it's wise to "hole up" for a while to put some distance between your organization and said mouthpiece, a point proven by the Discovery Channel's decision to cancel their program partnership.

His rhetoric earlier this month certainly isn't the first time he's used such incendiary language either, but you can certainly defend him and his choice of words if that's something you feel compelled to do. At least it'd be more honest than The Shadow's attempt to change the topic by trying to deflect elsewhere.

Okay. The word "slaughter" should be removed from our vocabulary even if one is not suggesting that a person or person be slaughtered.

One who fancies himself as a representative spokesperson for gun issues and is embraced by the NRA and the Republican candidate for president in the last election certainly should choose his words more carefully and in a much less incendiary manner.

Yes, he is an idiot. Do you think that the idiot is responsible for the slaughter that took place at Sandy Hook? He did use the phrase a couple of weeks prior. Makes one wonder.

No. But I think the idiot's deliberate choice of incendiary language reflects not only on the poor judgement of such a spokesperson, but also on those who embrace him because of his attitude and language. And that would include the Washington Times and those other publications that pay him for his opinion pieces. They know what he is.

He used the language prior to this tragedy. I don't get your angst but it's not important that I do.

He always uses incendiary language. And he poorly represents gun owners just as well as he does actual sportsperson hunters and real patriots who served our country honorably and didn't take the extraordinarily disgraceful steps Ted took to get out of the service when he could have backed up his macho words with actions.

He's one of the right's most eloquent spokesmen.
