Default Police investigating afternoon iPhone thefts at Towson mall

The two young men were last seen running out of the mall into the facility's parking structure, and the investigation is ongoing.

Cpl. Cathy Batton, a police spokeswoman, said officers received a pair of calls around 1 p.m. Sunday indicating that thefts were in progress. In the first, which Batton said occurred at 12:50 p.m., a woman was sitting on a bench inside the mall when a her iPhone was taken from her hands.

Police said the thief, who was accompanied by another male, ran out of the mall, across the driveway and into Macy's. Another iPhone was stolen in the department store.

Both women told police the phones were taken by a pair of black males, between 14 and 16 years old.
Sure hope the police catch these young thugs soon. Towson is really going downhill.
