    Default O's and Ravens

For once the O's and Ravens have a very similar year - both make the playoffs and both won't advance to the next round.

Which team will have better success in 2013?

Yes, but the Ravens have the wheels coming off on multiple fronts, and the O's have Bundy joining the staff next year. The teams are just passing each other, headed in different directions.

I was thinking the same thing. But off season moves will be critical for both teams.

So, you are putting your money on the team that after 15 years of miserable failure had one season where a lot of players played near the top of their game and had success once over the team with an organization that has consistently put a quality product on the field year after year in a sport where it is much easier to reload? Can you tell me what stocks you think will tank next year so I can use it as investment advice?

Seriously though, I anticipate both teams falling back some next year. I do have more faith that the Ravens can rebuild more quickly even though the O's have a lot of good young arms.

Yeah, one organization has a front office that has fielded a contender in every season that they 1) got at least half decent QB play, and 2) weren't ravaged by key injuries. The other does the same thing over and over, year after year, and managed one miracle season after 14 years of failure... and they aren't showing signs of doing anything differently now either...

If you held a gun to my head and made me place a bet, my money would be on the folks in Owings Mills over the folks on Eutaw Street.

But it would be nicer if they both mattered...
