A hard jab to the throat with a thumb by a little woman can kill a very large man.

So, being a complete arsehole and about to get your *** kicked is reason enough to shoot someone?

    I get it.

Are any of them dead now?

Jock should have kept his mouth shut and let the employees handle this. Throw the book at Jock. We don't need a "Dirty Harry" in standing in line in every pizza shop.

Sometimes getting your arse kicked winds up with someone being beaten to death.

The real lesson here is not to be a jerk, and not to provoke people for some prideful argument. I personally like to stay out of situations that can escalate to lethal force, but some people feel the need to put that awesome macho performance on. It's negligent to escalate if you feel like you can go farther because you're carrying a firearm.

Also, if you're carrying a weapon you're either quietly assessing or applying lethal force.
