    The special election would not be for another year and rumor has it Frank may temporarily fill it with NO desire to run.

    Is the majority of Massachusetts wants Scott Brown then let it be so. Pick Kerry for Secretary Of State. Stop playing politics.

    Politics was played long ago. The opposition to Rice was because they wanted Kerry for this reason.

    I saw a rumor recently that Dukakis might fill the seat temporarily.

    There's also the possibility that Brown doesn't run for Kerry's seat. I read somewhere that he is considering a run for Governor
