The Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph are considered arse-wipe rags here.

Unless you are saying or can say that in your visit to the UK you felt threatened or defenceless, and give reasons why that was the case, all your projections here are simply empty conjecture.

I keep saying (now who's a brick wall?) that the US and the UK are two completely different cultures and shouldn't be compared in your gun debates, why do you insist on doing so?
    1. I was trying to convince you that I have no ill feelings for Britain. I'm not sure I succeeded.

    2. Whether you personally don't like a newspaper doesn't change the facts presented in it.

    3. Whether I felt threatened in the UK during my brief visit is totally irrelevant to this discussion and proves nothing. Unless, I was supposed to get mugged in Piccadilly on New Year's or held up at the National Gallery.

    4. The point about the US and UK being different cultures is true and it's a point I've made regarding the US and other countries as well. That doesn't mean we can't glean data about the effects, either positive or negative, of gun control within each.

It seems like an ideal place for Conservatives.

Doesn't one need to be EMPLOYED before taxes are collected?

We give money to Mexico, all we have to do is stop one payment and he'll be free.
Just curious, has it even made the news before today if at all OTHER than on Fox?

Where does the Fast And Furious fiasco come in to this? I saw no mention of it in the article.

Then you didn't read the Mexican Ambassadors letter. What do you think he was referring to when he said, ""As you know well, Mexico has had very stringent gun-control laws in place for many years, and have reinforced their application as a result of the flow of weapons illicitly purchased in the U.S. and then trafficked into Mexico and into the hands of transnational criminal organizations," Sarukhan wrote.

He was referring to Fast and Furious.

Carney doesn't represent Obama well. Or, maybe he does. But he is still an idiot. I don't believe for a moment that he was "unaware" of this issue.

And I'll believe it when I see Hammar safely across the border on U.S. land.

I don't think this issue was important to Bobo. White, military, privileged, gun nut so why care..... from his pov. When the evil FOX broadcasted it it was time to jump on the bandwagon and say we had it covered.
