At the same time, I find it inconsistent for the church to insist that only opposite-sex marriages should be permitted by the state. Why doesn't it seek to impose its views on the eligibility of divorced people to marry by force of law?
Where did Fang go? I really want to know why he thinks same-sex marriage is an attack on traditional marriage.
They say that for the usual reason people oppose same-sex marriage. They are gay and the only thing holding back their repressed urge is society's disapproval.
I don't believe that is always true.
