Never, this is an “OPINIONS” board and I have my OPINIONS as everyone else on here does. This is NOT exclusively an Orioles board although some on here would like to pretend it is!!

Your reading comprehension hasn't gotten any better I see. No where in Post #18 does it say the players they signed were signed for

the same bloated contract that was given to Gonzalez, Crawford or Beckett?

It appears that you and weird-O are both suffering from a bit too much "Christmas Cheer." Anyway, it's good that the charter members of the 64-65 win team are still paired up with "joint" opinions.

Let's set your comprehension problems aside and focus on the future. The O's record will be 84-78 in 2013 and they'll miss the playoffs. Hopefully with this guidance in hand, the predictions from you and weird-O will be far less horrible than they were in 2012.

Happy holidays to you and your family.

It's not about "pairing up", I'm just pointing out your continued lack of reading comprehension.

Should the charter members of the 64-65 win club be questioning the comprehension of anyone else? Let's face it - you both showed your utter lack of comprehension with your dismal 2012 predictions.

Here's a suggested New Year's resolution for the 64-65 win club - try a little humility. It won't hurt and will make you both better and wiser people.

Regards to you, weird-O and your families.

I know, the truth hurts when it's pointed out. There are solutions to your problem though, here's one

I read post # 18, and there is no reference to the players or contracts you asked me about. want to try again?

I was hoping to find Billy Butler in my stocking yesterday morning as the O's DH for 2013!

There would be none of the young pitching apart from Bundy, off the table for me to do the deal.

it seems like Gausman is making excelerated progress and will be MLB ready much sooner than expected, but you have to give up quality to get quality. and Butler is under team control for a few years at a very reasonable salary.

but KC is all in for this season, unless they needed pitching right now, or could get MLB ready players in return, I don't see them moving Butler.

True, but we also have Johnson, Gonzalas, Britton, Dylan, etc to plug in if they stumble. In fact, I see a lot of competition for three rotation spots.

Nor do I but I would give up Gausman if that would do the deal. Nice to have a player of Butlers caliber that would DH but adequate in the field if needed.

Buy low...I think they are playing a waiting game on FA as there's not much out there.

I expect they'll make a trade. OF is sort of set but right side of infield could use some work!

I think the right side of infield is set in the mind of the Front Office and it is a DH with good numbers that could play in the field if required that they are looking for.
