Does the game agaisnt the Bengals mean something to the Bengals. Are they automatically the #6 seed?

I'm not sure. My first reaction was: The final game really doesn't mean anything to the Ravens OR the Bengals, so it could be a really weird game; like a pre-season game.

What if the Ravens win and the Patsies lose next week?

Well...both teams would be 11-5. But Houston and Denver are the #1 and #2 seeds. I guess it'd be a difference between being the #3 and #4 seeds. The Ravens beat the Pats, so I think/guess the Ravens hold the tie breaker. Is there any major advantage of being #3 over #4? It depends on who plays the #3 and who plays the #4. Other than that, I don't know.

What are you talking about, you troll? NCBirdfan was never OFF the bandwagon. Just go away. Even you can't spoil the fun the Ravens fans are having tonight. But seriously...just go away. You contribute nothing whatsoever except your trolling.

If you can find evidence to support your claims, go ahead and present them.

The trolls have been weak this year. And Tru Dat is just wanting a little attention. The only person he sees on a daily basis is his mother, and I hear she is even giving him hints to move out on his own.

Higher seed would play the lower seed....if NE and Balt would meet in the playoffs, it would be in Baltimore.

If the Ravens win and the Pats lose, Ravens would be the #3 seed. It depends on whether you want to face the Bengals or Colts at home in the first game. After that, it depends on who gets the first seed and what happens in the other wild card game.

Thanks. Does the #4 seed get the Bengals or the Colts?

(And it DOES sound as if there are some real consequences of next week's game, so they really can't rest the starters I wouldn't think.)

Congrats to the Baltmore Ravens on another AFC North Championship!
Kudos to Joe and the offense tonight. Beautiful game.
Nice effort by the defense too. A complete team win.
Merry Christmas to all posters on this board. As fans we all have something to celebrate tonight. Hope everyone has a peaceful and relaxing holiday.

if the ravens win and patriots lose, the ravens open at home against the bengals as the #3 seed...if the ravens and pats win next, the ravens play the colts at home as in these scenarios, the bengals have 9 wins....

it gets a little more complicated if bengals win next week and the colts lose (they are playing the Texans who now are fighting to hold on to the #1 seed)....not sure who would have the tie breaker for the 5th seed....it is possible to lose to the bengals next week and play them again the following week.
