After his team's loss to the Ravens, Andrew Luck was extremely classy and gave the Ravens credit. He also said he could have played better, but hats off to the Ravens they deserved to win and he will just have to move forward. These are comments of a true professional, even though just a rookie and will serve him well next year. Ed Reed was also very complimentary of Luck after the game.
On the other hand, I heard nothing of the sort from Bob Gimp Griffin III. He made no mention of the play of the Seahawks (at least in the interview they kept repeating on local news over and over) giving them no credit whatsover for totally dominating his squad for three quarters of that game. Makes me wonder if he should have a second MRI on his brain to find out what caused his humility to vanish. Maybe if he displayed some in defeat, it might reduce that huge target he seems to have on his back.
It is noticeable to me that it is becoming commonplace for defensive lineman when sacking him to seem to try to inflict intentional pain. I don't see that happening with Luck or Wilson.

You only see what you want to see. It enhances your ignorance.
Here is a serious thought for any Redskin fan reading this thread. All joking aside, RGIII is not going to have an NFL career to speak of if Shanahan doesnt wise up and abandon that stupid Pistol Offense. An NFL QB, unless built like Tim Tebow (running back) or Cam Newton (freak of nature) is not going to hold up running the ball in that offense, as the rules that protect a QB do not apply when he becomes a runner.
He is fair game and if they dont convert RGIII into a simple pocket passer who runs like Andrew Luck (to escape a rush and slides down to avoide contact) he is going to be continually injured and have a very shortened careeer. This isn't college, the NFL has monster size, extremely fast defenders who will hurt you. Shanahan is going to ruin this kid for good and any hope he has of even limited sucess will be gone with the wind.
Odd, in just a simple search of a few games, I can't find one where Flacco credits the other team. After the Denver loss he said it felt like they were 0-14. No mention of Denver. Can you point me to the postgame adulation from him following the Redskins game?
If you care about the health of your QB you don’t run the option in the NFL. You definitely don’t run it when your QB has on a bulky knee brace. Ask Terrell Davis about Shanahan’s concerned for his player’s long term health. If Shanahan keeps it up RGIII will be in hoveround in few years.
You are right, Flacco didn't. However, he did man up and take the blame for the loss. He said it was on him in the Denver game. I didn't catch an interview of Flacco after the Redskin game. However, I didn't hear Bob taking any blame, for the Redskin loss to Seattle, but if he did feel free to correct me, if I missed it. All I heard him say basically is he was their best chance to win at QB and some more cocky b.s. about this year was the meal and next year the dessert.
News Flash: If anyone has a reason to be cocky it would be Russell Wilson not the losing teams QB.![]()

I don't think I've seen SEA play all year. Wilson was an elusive little bastid...got rid of the ball fast and was pretty accurate.
I thought he was bigger. he's like a normal sized person 5'11" 200lbs.. he looked small on the field compared to the other guys...
He may be small in stature, but he makes up with it by quickness, fast decision making, accuracy and smarts. I was listening to Sirius NFL radio and they interviewed HOF QB Warren Moon and he was extremely impressed with Wilson. He said instead of playing like a rookie his teammates joke he plays like a 40 year old NFL QB in his poise and smarts. Moon also said he works harder than any player on the team. First one in and last to leave.
