In order to beat the Redskins teams are going to have to stop the run. They need to do that first and make RG3 beat you with his arm. I would put 9 in the box and single cover the wide receivers. He may beat you with a long TD pass or two but it would eliminate those long scoring drives where they chew up clock. Right now he is running only about 75% speed and it would be the time to do this and stop worrying about him beating you with his running.

his passing looked the same to he as it has all season ......

short quick slant passes, bubble screen that depend on the yac and dropping the ball over sucked up linebacker are the key to his passing game success ......

mediocre when throwing the ball down the field and haven't really seen him throw the long out to the sideline with success .......

he is a talented athlete running a similar offense to a lot of the city high schools that use their best athlete at qb when I played moons ago .......

congrats on joining the 27 other teams that have made the playoffs in the past 5 years .......

you wouldn't have made it if you played a good team last night .....

You described his passing game to a T. He throws a good slant and short pass. He doesn't throw an accurate deep ball unless his receiver is so wide open anyone could hit them. His short sideline throws are good.

He can run and scramble light years better than Flacco, but Flacco throws passes through small windows and to the deep sideline that he can only dream of throwing. He is actually very basic in his passing. If teams start stopping the run he will be exposed. He benefits tremendously because of the running game and play action. He's no Tom Brady, Drew Brees, or Rogers. He's not even close to as good a pocket passer as Andrew Luck and certainly not Flacco. He threw several horrible passes in the ground or way over this receivers heads last night even though he had plenty of time. He did have one dropped by Garcon that could have been a big play that was a good throw.

Look who crawled out from under his rock. Go to my first post on the last page (page 7). Griffin is the most accurate passer in the league on passes over 20 yards. Time to put that one to be, Twerp.

Hmmmm, I am going to trust STATS AND FACTS over the mindless drivel of two morons. Carry on, know-nothing's. All you have is ignorant wishful thinking.

How many has he thrown? Again, goober he doesn't throw that many and because he throws so few and your team has such an outstanding ground game the receivers are usually wide open or he doesn't attempt. How many deep balls for example did he even attempt last night? Only one I recall and it was so overthrown and off the mark one would have to think he was just throwing it away.

Yeah, will his 100 yards passing last night was oh so impressive. He had Tim Tebow stats last night genius but they won so IMO it doesn't matter, but it your Fantasy Football world I guess you need to come up with some sort of lame excuse for it. I cannot wait.

I'd like to see those stats .......

is that when the ball is in the air over 20 or the resultant play is over 20 yards .........

also, what's the sample size, he doesn't throw long much, is 10 of 20 better than 36 of 80? ......

stands to reason with a high percentage completion on the short plays the ones that are broken for long yardage will have a high percentage ......

like I told you, stats can be misleading, you have to watch the games .........

like I said on the other thread that I supplied video links to you on, I saw several long balls that were jump balls that didn't show a good touch long (although the moss pass was a great mid range pass) ......

just my opinion, you are entitled to yours, time will tell, I will leave you trolls alone now .......

btw, twerp is so original, not only are you a troll, but a pretty boring one .......

I suspect most of his 20 yards or more passes were dump offs where the receiver ran 90% of the play. He is a runner first, thrower second. He is vastly overhyped as a passer. In fact his entire use of a playbook is limited but he simply excecutes those fake handoffs extremely well. I am not impressed by his drop back passing in the least.

The stats are for balls in the air 20 or more yards. He also has the fewest under and overthrown balls. Honestly, there aren't enough stats to refute blind hate so I am not sure why I bother. Go ask Dan Graziano and the guys at ESPN and Stats Inc.

I would understand if you had an issue with one stat like the QB ranking or the completion percentage but, after 15 games, it simply isn't possible to argue all of these stats. He is in the top five in every category. He's thrown the fewest interceptions in the league. He has a 3:1 TD:INT ratio. He leads the league in yards per attempt. You don't get those stats from throwing screen passes all day. Unless you two have more than your wishful thinking, is advise giving up. You're looking pretty dumb.

Well if last night was his typical game I don't see where is stats were any better than a Tim Tebow game last year.

Here is the mobile version where the stats are broken down. It is balls in the air over 20.

Last night wasn't his typical game and you'd know that if you watched him play. They ran the ball for almost 300 yards so there was little need to pass. People who know football are aware of that.

The funny thing about stats and facts is, if you looked them up like I told you in a previous post, you wouldn't be on here posting your uninformed suspicions. It is obvious that you started this whole thread to disparage Griffin. You don't have to like him or the team, but at least get some facts before you post ignorance. Did Griffin have a dominating passing performance last night? Of course not, but then again, he didn't have to. Keep doing what works right? Dallas couldn't stop the run, therefore there was no reason to stop doing it. Last night was Griffin's worst game in terms of passing, but with last night being the exception, he has been one of the most consistent QBs in the league. But why am I even going into this? It's obvious that you have an axe to grind, to the point that you can't even argue rationally or to be objective. You even admitted to not watching Skins games because "they suck." As you haven't watched even half of the Skins games, you have no credibilty as a critic. Givin the level of your irrational hatred for the Skins, you should seek the services of a professional. Should the Redskins win next week, what's next excuse going to be?

If Wilson has a better game than RG3 next week (which is certainly possible if not probable) the level of smack talk on this thread will rival having to listen to Hector over on the O's board.

I don't care about anyone's stats. They are for losers and meaningless. All that matters is wins like Johnny Unitas is famous for saying as stats are for losers. Tony Romo had more yards passing and more TD passes last night than RGIII but so what? His team lost. Ergo, RGIII had a better game as basically all he did was not turnover the ball and had it off to Morris.

You accuse me of not researching things, well why don't you follow your own advice and stop being so clueless about me as I have NEVER said I hate the Redskins. The only NFL team I hate and despise is the Steelers and even them not so much since Hines Ward retired. So get your facts straight. I have been complimentary of Pierre Garcon, London Fletcher, and Albert Morris. I just find RGIII very overated and I will take Russell Wilson or Luck over him any day. That doesn't make me a "hater" or "racist" or anything of the sort as your juvinile Pal Hail2bng resorts to alleging.

It also shows that stats aren't the end all be all as you seem to think because you are a pure idiot when it comes to NFL Football.
