When its comes to attacking Fire Fighters, whats new is old.

As a Baltimore City FF in the 70s, we used to ride on the back step of the rig.

Engines in Baltimore City were than equipped with a plexiglass cage to cover your head.

When someone tossed a rock that would hit that plexiglass, as the engine was traveling at 40 mph, it would sound like a cannon ball hitting the shield.

No telling how many FF lives were saved by that shield.

Sorry that some facts are sad. But yes. There are some partisans so caught up in the fight (for or against) that they will be happy when an event (no matter how sad) happens if it offers them some help with their fight.

Spengler should have been put to death in 1981 but as with good ole boys he got a pat on the backside and was spared. It's the entitlement good ole boys believe they must have. Beginning from the first days when europeans set foot on this nation claiming to have discovered a place already inhabited. And bringing with them disease.
