No problem. I assumed my post wasn't clear.

I don't think witness protection is necessary. D.C. won't prosecute this. Had it been Mr. LaPierre waving the magazine around then that would have been a different story.

    Misdemeanor, not a felony.

I wish it had been Piers Morgan instead.

“NBC contacted the Metropolitan Police Department inquiring if they could utilize a high capacity magazine for this segment. NBC was informed that that possession of a high capacity magazine is not permissible and the request was denied. This matter is currently being investigated and I cannot get into any further specifics on this investigation."
Officer Aziz Alali of the MPD Public Information Office

I'm sure Soros or one of Gregory's other liberal puppetmasters will pony up the fine for him.

Seems to me that perhaps David Gregory was showing everyone he is armed and came packing to the show, just in case..

I certainly would be armed if I was interviewing the head of the NRA...I would hope everyone would want to protect themselves from that wacko..

Great work, David!! Protect yourself at all times...

I think all Sunday morning news hosts should be armed..You never know who you will interview...Hell, you may as well arm all the street reporters too..Any day now someone will open fire on them..They should prepare themselves...

Every public servant needs to be armed...

    That will settle it...

Wouldn't it be ironic if the 'gun control' that failed to stop Adam Lanza managed to sweep up Mr. Gregory instead. It would be a testament to the pointlessness of it.

If the statement is true then that makes it even worse. They were told beforehand that possession was illegal and they conspired to do it anyway. They can’t argue that they didn’t know. Sounds like a criminal conspiracy to violate that particular law. I know it’s legal (or seems to be) for members of Congress to engage in that sort of conduct but I’m pretty sure it’s illegal for the rest of us.

You're probably right but I would still like to see Mr. Gregory suffer.

Just shows how hypocritical the gun nuts are, that they would fight for Adam Lanza's ease of access to 30 round magazines but turn on David Gregory for showing one. Their priorities are so backwards.

I just wonder how long it will be before someone comes up with a fake magazine for NBC. After all the police are investigating to find out it was a real magazine and apparently the law doesn't cover look alike or imitation magazines. I don't even know if there is such a thing but I wouldn't be surprised if they come up with one.

This also goes to show how easy some of these gun laws are to break, even when NBC was told it was against the law. Yeah, we need more laws because you know people can't break laws

I know next to knowing about weapons so please forgive this question. Doesn't one need a weapon in which to place the magazine in order to render it an effective weapon? Or does one just throw the magazines and hope that it hits the mark?

That would be the ideal situation.

With a lot of practice that could be somewhat effective.

I wouldn't recommend it. Just ask Martha Stewart.

Just shows how hypocritical the anti gun rights nuts are when they want to give Mr. Gregory a pass on breaking a law, probably knowingly breaking it as well, but want to cry for more laws and rail when an average citizen breaks a law.

So you anti gun nuts don't believe that what is wrong is the breaking of the law? Funny, when someone breaks a gun law to commit a crime or crimes you want to blame the gun but in this case you want to defend the alleged criminal, maybe you should blame the 30 round magazine instead of Mr. Gregory. I guess he is innocent until proven guilty.
